Your RIE-SWO Executive announces our 2025 Spring Symposium, to be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
The theme for this event is:
 
        "Lessons Learned in Resilience:  What is Working & What is Not!"
 
As always, there is no cost for any RIE-SWO (or other RIE chapter) members and first time guests.

                                                       Danielle French,
                                                       Chief Information Security Officer, MCAP         
                                                       In her presentation Danielle will share practical tips
                                                       and hints for enhancing your organization's cyber
                                                       resiliency program. The session will explore options
                                                       for increasing your resiliency through vulnerability
                                                       management, backups, phishing barricades, exercises
                                                       and awareness training.

                                                       topping of the list for the third year in a row. Being
                                                       hacked can cause major, cascading dents in your
                                                       ability to deliver. Be educated, prepared and practiced.
                                                           
Presentation Four           1:30 pm  "Achieving Success With Your Resilience Program,
                                                       One Company at a Time!"

                                                       George Hemming, Consultant
                                                       In this talk, George will share key successes, challenges &
                                                       lessons learned from his professional journey across vari-
                                                       ous companies.  Key themes are how to gain support
                                                       across multiple levels of mgmt, navigating internal dynamics
                                                       and aligning stakeholders around shared goals, how to
                                                       achieve true program adoption, navigating the “battle of the
                                                       budget”—what works, what doesn’t, and how external
                                                       drivers can play a crucial role in shaping outcomes & finally
                                                       what success actually looks like across different roles, teams 
                                                       and industries.
